Hi, I’m Marlene Hielema. This is a digital portfolio of educational tools and resources for courses that I am teaching or taking.
Right now I’m taking a course in Blended Learning at SAIT in Calgary, and this site is part of that coursework. As it turns out I’m also taking an Adobe Dreamweaver course and I start an Adobe InDesign course in a few weeks. When you are a post secondary instructor, the spring and summer break is for learning. It’s really the only time you have.
SAIT also offers the added benefit of free tuition for their instructors. I think that’s amazing and it shows the school’s commitment to it’s instructors and life-long learning. Hooray for SAIT!
