Conference Board report on copyright draws criticism

This developing story from the CBC should be of interest to photographers and educators alike. CAPIC in Canada has been lobbying long and hard for copyright protection for photographers, and was very close to completing this goal until the dissolution of parliament in October 2008.

CAPIC: In Canada, the Copyright Act discriminates against assignment photographers (photographers who are commissioned to make photographs by a client). Read on for more info on this issue from the CAPIC website.
